Anything that America wanted would benefit the British because all trade was taxed under the Navigation Acts. The Navigation Acts controlled who traded with America who road sail on the ships and the profits from goods

Between 1720 and 1770 the transatlantic trade brought cheaper goods to the colonies in larger quantities

A movement headed by thinkers who believed that all problems could be solved by using human reason

A time when powerful evangelical preachers traveled from town to town performing emotion-pack sermons that deeply touched listeners
